Wonder's new Colorful Widow has a tragic past teased in Wastelanders unscheduled

Natasha Romanoff continues to plain only in the ongoing Latrodectus mactans series, just this Jan Marvel Comics will be introducing a new Latrodectus mactans Eastern Samoa part of the forthcoming Wastelanders series.

January 1's Wastelanders: Black Widow woman #1 bequeath star a Black Widow, but it's not the Black Widow (Natasha). Could it be Yelena Belova? We can confirm it's not, as Marvel has said Wastelanders: Latrodectus mactans #1 will be her introduction - and we've heard the alternate codename 'Grey Widow woman' floated around for the character.

Whomever this unused Black Widow is, we have a first deal her in action with these unlettered pages from Wastelanders: Black Widow #1 away author Steven S. DeKnight and artist Well-Bee:

As you can glean from the Wastelanders: Black Widow #1 preview, the esoteric new Black Widow is apparently rescuing  a bizarre new version of the Lizard known as the Lounge lizard King, who is imprisoned in an Orlando zoo. This is all set in the alt-reality ulterior Marvel has dubbed 'Old Man Universe,' glorious away the iconic 'Mature Man Logan' Wolverine chronicle discharge by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven.

Wastelanders: Black Widow #1 is one part of a five-issue Wastelanders project that includes solo issues in the Old Man Universe from Wolverine, Hawkeye, Doctor Doom, and Star-Lord.

Wastelanders: Latrodectus mactans #1's primary insure is drawn by Josemaria Casanovas, with a random variable underwrite by Steve McNiven.

Since this was announced, Marvel has declared a coinciding Wastelanders: Undiluted Widow podcast series to set up January 10.

Wastelanders: Black Widow woman #1 goes happening sale on January 12.
